The high-light of the weekend for the kids was a Pool party they attended Sat. afternoon. Makayla's good friend Belle, was celebrating her 14th birthday. Belle's Mom hosted a water Olympics for the party - girls against the boys. Girls came home with the gold - gold lip gloss that is. They competed in the games for about 1 and 1/2 hours. By then the were ready to eat and open gifts. After a short break they were all back in the pool again for about an hour. They all had a great time and I enjoyed watching and visiting with all the other moms. Last night we had a fun family night of Macho Nachos for dinner and a family movie. I rented War Games that is 20 plus years old. I remember my dad and I going to see it one HOT day in Oregon when I was a teenager. We flipped a coin and War Games won. We both enjoyed the movie and also enjoyed getting out of the heat. ( we didn't have A/C in Oregon) We all had fun watching it last night - it does have more swear words than we would have liked. But over all good.

This was a fun blog and no longer are they the "twins" as Nick is alot taller now and pretty strong too if this picture has a 1,000 words. Thanks soooo much for sharing all the FUN time. Love, mom
