That's right - hot of the presses - Home Run Honey turned the game around. The Diamond Diva came to play Tues. night. Mississippi madness broke out at the crack of her bat as the ball went sailing over 3rd base. Honey was a burr as she rounded the bases and didn't look back until she tagged home plate. Her team, that has some Bad News Bear tenancies, were instantly pulled from their rut as Honey came home to her team mates cheers. They had new hope, they had inspiration, they knew they could do it. Honey didn't only shine at bat she was hot on the pitchers mound as well. Flashing the boys her beautiful smile all the while striking them out. The final score 12-7 - chalk up a win for Honey and the cubs.
LOVE IT! Honey is a very good model too. ;) Thanks for sharing the play-by-play. Wish we could have been there cheering in the stands. Hugs all 'round, Jax
Wooo Hooo cheering from Kent! Way to go! Don't you love watching the kids play sports! I loved your play by play =O)
We are headed into Seattle tomorrow to watch Ali and her WWU Volleyball team play SPU. This will be the first time for Dave and I to see her play in two years since her knee surgery. Nervous yet excited.
Told Snackie that we need to come up with an award for you blogging on vacation!
Four Yankees and a Cajun live in our happy home in South Mississippi. We feel Blessed beyond compare and spend our days trying to notice God's loving hand moving all around us. Our attitude of Thanksgiving cast a warm glow on our lifes. This Blog is a way for me to share with family and friends some of the happenings of our family as we enjoy our life spent together.
