Last Saturday morning we were up early to go to Nicks game against their rival team the Bulldogs. Its was the best game yet and it looked like they were going to lose when the BD's scored a touchdown with a min. 40 to go. The score was 18- 13 Bull dogs. Then on the kickoff to the Gators the Bulldogs got the ball back. Their was a fight between two Gators and the coach sent one player off the field ( wide receiver). The next play Nick made a hard hit tackle that caused a fumble and the Gators got the ball back. In went the very upset wide receiver who made his best catch yet and they made it down the field towards the Gator end zone. In the huddle the coach called out Diesel. That is Nicks nick name on the team and a play they made just for him. Nick gets the hike instead of the quarterback and takes it right up the middle with the help of the team. And that is what they did. He layed the ball over the line to give us a score of 19-18. They didn't get the extra point but was able to hold the Bulldogs for 58 seconds - ( thats along time in football) and win the game. Over all Nick scored 2 touchdowns and 1 extra point plus great on defence. Boy I wish you could have been there with us. I was hugging everyone ( not just family - everyone) and doing the bump with the Quarterback's mom. I have just one thing to say - Go Gators!!!!
